From the desk of Paladin February 23, 2026

 

Good morning my friends,

I just wanted to drop a quick note to let everyone know that I have hit a writers block and that is why I haven't posted anything new in the last couple of weeks.

It has been one obstacle after another it seems with the new chapters. I still haven't been able to get the AI results I want for Barbra waking to learn of her fate, nor any of the other stories. So I had decided to set them aside and work on the written word. But that hasn't faired much better. I know the elements that I want to have when Barbra learns that she is no longer on Earth where she has some small hope of rescue or escape. But the pieces are not lining up and falling into place in a way that I like. I have cleared and restarted page 1 several times.

I thought that if I switched gears and started work on the next chapter in the Darterra series that might help. But once again the elements are there just not coming together in a way I like. And one rule that I have set in stone is that I will not post something just the sake of posting something. While Emma, Tracker, and our friends continue to put out great work. I have read some shorts in other places that have left me looking at the screen and shaking my head.

So I will keep working and hopefully will be over this hurdle soon.

Good morning My Friends,

First off I would like to take a moment to apologize for my absence and silence. The demands on my time have been more persistent than usual. And while they have not lightened up by much. I will try and get back into the swing of things.

  I am hoping that the break will help with the issues I have with both of the stories that I am currently working on. One is the not getting the AI to create the images that match up with what I see in my mind or in most results even close enough to work. It has been one of those times that I truly wish that I had more artistic talent than I do. If I did then I would have exactly what I want and might even try to do one of these stories in comic form.

I am hoping to resume work on the Barbra Gordon on Gor story shorty. I also have some thoughts on the Darterra and Genta slave girl series. 

I hope that all those reading are weathering the winter safely. Personally, I am over cold and snow.
