I just wanted to take a quick moment to give all of you a quick update on Book II Marooned Chapter 7 “Dying Ain’t Much of a Living”. It's coming along slowly. I have in my mind what I want it to do and happen. But it is getting the pieces of the puzzle down till they fit to my satisfaction. And by that I mean, I will crank out a few paragraphs or even pages. Then I will go back and look for the flaws. The little things that cause your mind to say "STOP! BULLSHIT FLAG ON THE PLAY!" I do that all the time when I am reading or watching movies. I did it last night with the annual watching of Hocus Pocus when the kid took a Zippo lighter that was caked in dust and cobwebs out of a display case and it lighted right up. I want to know where they get their lighters because Mine goes dry after a couple days and never bought one with fluid in it already. Or the wrong ranks on uniforms.
But soon as I get all the pieces to fit the way I want them to. You will get something to make you smile and say "Damn that was good"

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 400 watchers on DA. I can wait for the chapter 7 of Book II Marooned. Thanks for taking the time to do it right.

Do get your point about having to go back and get it right. I often have that same problem when writing. The best quote I heard on the subject goes: "Proof reading is best done after publication!". Don't let it get you down Paladin. Regards Peony D Beckside

ReplyDeleteIs there any relationship between the Leta and Nina in Ranger011’s “landing in Rome(1)” and the Leta and Nina in Darterra Saga: Book 2 Marooned?
I thought they might be the same in an alternate universe until Leta and Nina were identified in “New slaves to the house(8)” as “Doctor Leta Denison, department of historical accuracy. And Time Agent Nina Maxwell.”
Since Nina is identified as Nina Ritter in Chapter 8 of Terra Stone: Mistaken Identity, I’m not so sure.
My confusion comes from “300 Watchers,” where Nina and Leta (Terra) appear in the illustration and the text says “The girl of Daterra and myself Thank You helping us reach 300 watchers.”
The fourth picture in “New slaves” has Leta and Nina dressed as patrician women. You should use the picture for the next deviation in the sequence, “Triumphant(9)” and explain how Nina used her skills as a Time Agent to kill their Master.
Time Agents know hundreds of ways to kill with ordinary objects. Enslaving a Time Agent is riskier than enslaving a Panther Girl.

DeleteNina is identified as Nina Ritter in Chapter 9, not 8, of Terra Stone; Mistaken Identity.
vyeh
vyeh,
DeleteAgain thank you watching and reading. As well as your comments and questions.
It would seem that I am guilty of this confusion.
When I started using Open AI to do my own art for the stories, I created the models and gave them the names of characters in the Darterra and Gor stories as that was all that I planned to use them for. The first red haired girl was named Terra for Terra Stone. But she wasn't as realistic looking and more comic book that I wanted if that makes sense. And since Terra and Ragenta are both stunning red heads, I used the Terra Model for Ragenta as well. When I decided to introduce Reganta's mother Leta into one of the stories. I created another beautiful redhead called Leta. I liked her how she turned out better than Terra so I have used her for all redheads.
It originally started with me playing with the models and having them cosplay as Batgirl or in Star Trek. I just used the name of the model I was using as whatever. Terra or Leta as Batgirl ect.. Magdella had a classic Vampire look so I started using her for a couple vamps I wanted to do as one and done. Now she is Magdella in Darterra and the Countess Magdella Queen of the Vampires
The Leta and Nina misadventures are the same way. Same image and first name but different last names for different stories. I said that Nina Maxwell was a Time Agent because I thought it sounded better that Time Cop which now that I have said it makes me want to go watch that old Jean Claude movie lol
The image of Nina and Leta dressed as Roman Free Women was intended to be an image of what the original time line was like before their Master tampered with it herding them into the slave market to become slaves.
And yes either one could easily kill the Master. But then what? They are trapped in Rome as slaves. Both of their ways home are gone. one lost and the other tampered with. So the only way out would be with how he got their and He knows that. Their only hope it to be serve as the slaves they are now in the hopes that he will let it slip or they will discover where it is. He has the advantage of knowing about them so able to travel back further to establish himself as a Roman Citizen by making several visits.
Remember that the Romans didn't take will to rebellious slaves. It is very likely that the keys to their slave collar are with his recall device well hidden. So without that location, they are trapped in the slave collars and the only clothing for them to wear is that of slaves. Killing him would mean their own death.

ReplyDeleteThank you for responding.
(1) Who is Enta? I looked at the final part of The Assessment and Rafe’s Chain of Slaves. Enta appears in the illustration to The Assessment Part 5, but doesn’t appear in the text.
(2) Thank you for the explanation. I suspect the use of Leta and Nina was cosplay of some sort. The different last names threw me.
(3) No reason you shouldn’t use the same model for 2 different characters on different sites. I only watched Ranger011 because you announced your DA id in a comment and I wanted updates on TroyDM work. Now, I favor the DA versions of Leta and Nina.
(4) Nina and Leta could torture their Master for information, keys and recall device. While the typical Gorean and Earth women have no choice but to submit and wait for a break, I expect Nina to be like Verna and the old Cassandra, who threw herself overboard in chains rather than strip.
(5) Character Emma is a strong woman. She charged Seremides and his shield wall with an automatic to trigger the Flame Death, saved the Priest-Kings by shooting down tarns carrying nuclear weapons, jumped into a pit to stab a Kur with a sword and summoned tarns with a Priest-King ring.
She is a slave because she didn’t like being a Free Woman (see the first chapter of Shadows of Gor), she doesn’t want to be a Panther Girl and she loves kajira sex even if it isn’t with Brinn. She pushes him at times.
(6) I don’t think Time Agents and experienced Union agents, like Terra Stone, are natural slaves. I expect Terra to demand her freedom once the current delayed mission is over.
vyeh
vyeh,
DeleteI am not sure Emma came into things here. But yes when her mission to get herself captured and enslaved to infiltrate the rogue agents strong hold. Something awoke in her, and the slave fires went nuclear and she only wanted to be a pleasure slave.
I should probably give the models of Leta and Nina different names when not in Gor or Darterra. I think it is mostly a time saver for me. By keeping the first names the same I can slight edit in some cases and reuse an image in different places. A good example as an old school Battlestar Galactica fan since I was a kid. I knew that I would pretty much see the same space battles and dogfights reused in every episode. Or the same car chase footage in a Crime Drama.
Enta goes back to Lady Ragenta moves to Ar. It was one of Ragenta's alias. In the Assessment, the Physician Dantor arranged for her to be known as Lady Andreus for the slave assessment. Ragenta kept that name and used it to hide financial holdings and properties from her partners especially Spectus. Enta was the name that Ragenta used when disguised as a slave. Not very inventive but she just shortened her own name on the assumption that nobody would make the connection between the Slaver Lady Ragenta and the slave girl Enta.
Also at the end of Moves to Ar, when she is properly branded and sold as the first slave sold by the House in Ar. Atilas who had caught her in the camp as Enta, having honored her two last request before being branded slave. Bought her himself and had her shipped to another house in another city then returned to the house in are as his personal slave, naming her Genta
I am not really trying to say too much on the Roman story. But Nina is going to be the one to break. She was the one playing around and triggering both leaps back in time for her and Leta. She was the one responsible for the lost recall device. So she blames herself for them being slaves. She would feel it is her punishment and fate. Leta is the fighter and their Master sees and knows this, hence why she is the one chained out for public display and sexual use. He is hoping to break her, if he does then he might keep them for a while. If not they are prime slaves that will bring a decent price.
Oh, almost forgot. Terra now known as Leta. If it were anyone else besides Rafe/Nate that owned her as a slave. To include Tyrell who she likes. I think she would be bidding her time watching and waiting for a way to escape and try to get free. Given the past history of those two both professional and intimate, the fact that he pulled out all the stops to get her back when she was enslaved and the only reason she was not promptly freed was the orders he received for them both. Her feelings for him, sense of honor and debt to him, will have her wanting to keep the bond they now have.

ReplyDelete(1) Character Emma does not only want to be a pleasure slave. She keeps saving the day. How many times has she saved Brinn’s life?
(2) Enta, Genta, Ragenta … Three names for the same character, yet the same names, Nina and Leta, for different characters. No wonder I am confused. No reason to change names on different sites.
(3) Like you, I started on DA. I only found blogspot because I googled “Gor fan fiction” and recognized Emma of Gor as a deviant I watched on DA. I located Tracker’s stories from the numerous comments he left on Emma’s introductory thread. He has your stories listed on his blog.
(4) I don’t hold you to any teasers/spoilers. Nina is irresponsible. She doesn’t accept that there are consequences to her actions. She doesn’t blame herself. She blames fate. Someone, e.g. Leta, always comes to her rescue.
(5) Nina is a trained Time Agent. She and Leta are responsible for historical accuracy. Their number one adversaries are rogue time travelers like their Master. Her training should condition her to eliminate rogue time travelers.
(6) Of course, Leta won’t break. She is a fighter.
(7) Nate and Leta are names Rafe and Terra have assumed as their cover names on Daterra. Nate will be Rafe when he returns to the Union. She will want to keep her bond with Rafe, but she isn’t a natural slave.
(8) I enjoy your artwork on DA/blogspot and your stories on blogspot/DA. Thank you.

ReplyDelete(1) Are you using the same models for Stella and Morgan in “Goblin slaves” that you use for Leta and Nina in “Discussion(9)” over in DA. Except for clothing, the blonds look identical and the brunette looks the same as the redhead. Since the two deviations appeared next to each other, I eagerly read “Goblin slaves” looking for a continuation of Leta and Nina’s story.
(2) Of course, Leta doesn’t want to be sexually humiliated again. However, she also wanted to spare Nina the humiliation. She is focused on getting home, so she is prepared to be obedient until she gets an opportunity. I hope they either arrest him to face trial or they kill him to preserve historical accuracy.
vyeh
vyeh,
Deleteactually for those two, meaning Stella and Morgan, I just typed in hair, age, measurements and such and that is what they gave me.
And I just posted the next installment of time slaves so some new motivation has came to light why they should be good slave girls.

Paladin:
Delete(1) The faces of the brunette and redhead look the same. Did you do the same for “Mirror Training”?
(2) Obviously, it will be a high risk to make their move. The high reward is getting home. If they continue to be good slaves when the opportunity arises, they will never get home.

ReplyDeleteAre the Naomi and Piper in “Naomi pleasure silked” and “Piper pleasure silked” in DA the same Naomi and Piper in Darterra? And does the Cristo Corp. have gardens and pleasure silks?
vyeh
vyeh,
DeleteI have named My AI models after the characters in My stories. I also use then in My other projects. Sometimes i change the names and sometimes I don't. Sometimes they are used as cosplay, which would be this case. I used the models Naomi and Piper as they might look as flowers in a Gorean pleasure Garden or a pleasure harem anywhere else.
