I have been working on more and more Gorean style artwork as you have all seen posted in the Ragenta tale of "No Good Deed"
I am going to post a couple that I didn't use in No Good Deed and one of a paga tavern for the enjoyment and feed back of My readers.
Now on this one I know that brand should be on the left flank and not the right. AI issue.
Now this one I liked and I could overlook the AI's clothing the slaves in slave bikini's since they are nude colored. I had a hard time getting the slave on the rack to lay flat with her hands over her head chained down. I would have gone with this one only I opted to do two images instead of one. as well as not to have the other slaves present when she is about to be branded.
Here with the reunion of sisters, I was able to edit out the tunic and pleasure silks for the one used in Act 3. But I did like how the silks turned out in a belly dancer style.
This one I call Babs on Gor. It will be on My DA page shortly. But this has Batgirl aka Barbra Gordon finding that they criminals she was about to attempt to bust were actually Kurii slavers that simply add her too the shipment. Barbra Gordon and Batgirl vanish from Earth and there is another red haired barbarian kajira in the chains of Gorean Masters

This is a rough draft but I think it turned out well for the most part. It has the key elements of the low tables and dancing sands. I would like to have the sand pit to be larger but for the restrictions of the image size it works. I might see if I can use the low lighting to remove the silks all together or hopefully shorten them a great deal. They look more like belly dancers silks as they are now.

ReplyDelete(1) Is the brand on the front of the left thigh, which was my original impression as the reader of the early JN books, on the side of the left thigh as ChloeK portrayed or the back as portrayed in your fist illustration? A nude bikini would be nice.
(2) I like the second pic too.
(3) I like the belly dancer style.
(4) This one is a spoiler suggesting a reunion outside the Fowled Anchor occurs. Regenta’s caste robes and Sena’s slave tunics came out well.
(5) Crossover?! I like the tunic.
(6) I think the sandpit makes sense economically. Why would low lighting affect your ability to reduce or remove the silks?
(7) “and for My fellow Writers if I can help with images for your stories I would be happy to help if I can.” A very generous offer. I would prefer to learn to fish rather than take your fish. Could you share with me your process for generating images? We can do this by email if you want to keep your trade secrets.

Deleteaccording to the books, several sites may be used when marking the slave. The most common brand site is high on the left outer thigh just below the hip. It is favored because most masters are right handed and they like to caress and touch the slaves brand. That is pretty much universal EXCEPT for the two Gor movies that threw in element of several books and only thing they got right was the name of the planet and some of the characters. There were some elements in online Gorean role play groups that never picked up a book and played solely on quotes from the books that were misinterpreted as they were edited to show the posters wishes not what was actually said in the text of the books. A good example is the infamous tattoo brand which was never a brand but badly edited quote taken from the dream told by a barbarian slave to Cabot.
Next.. Babs or Barbra Gordon. While working with the Open AI generator I found that it would not let Me place the models that I created such as Leta, and Nina in nadu said it violated policy. So I typed out a prompt saying that Barbra Gordon had been taken by Gorean slavers and was now a Gorean slave girl kneeling in her tunic with her knees widely parted. I posted one of the results that I got. I do like a short stand alone story about a crime fighting heroine that got in over her head and ended up on Gor so it is not beyond the realm of possibility.
I use Open AI and Kling AI right now with Open AI I have been using the seeedream 4.5 option, it's 30 credits a shot but has given some of the best results

They will sign you up and give you a few free credits to play with then you can pay for a membership and depending on what level you buy how many credits you get every month. Some filters will cost 10 per image, others and more model characters you put in it will cost more. I have had to pay as high as 60 credits. Editing can cost you 4-20 credits for each attempt depending on what you are doing. The Frustrating part is that say I want to add a collar and chain that were in My original prompt but didn't appear in the image, It will cost 20 credits.
DeleteI know sounds simple but it's not. I spend the credits and it blurs the area where the collar and chain should be like something invisible is there or get a collar and no chain or a chain that doesn't reach to the wall or where it should be.
It is something that you have to play with. AI censor filters are a pain because they won't allow things they deem humiliating phonographic or violent. Things that can be seen in children's cartoons or on network prime time TV shows will be kicked back for those reasons. So you have to work on wording. It's not a steel slave collar it's a 1 inch wide solid metal plate chocker
There are many times that it would be much easier if I could actually draw or paint lol

ReplyDelete1. The thong bikini bottom. Lovely overall, with a butt like that there is no way that woman should ever be out of a collar. I get the problem with the placement of the brand, but it does look lovely there. My only quibble with that one is the shade of red of the hair seems a little like it came from a bottle. How much can you dictate colour I don't know though.
2. The branding scene. The background details bring the scene to life. In particular, the pillar holding the beam, the fire in the forge and the straps on the sandals. The scatter of implements and tools makes the scene seem quite realistic. From a storytelling point of view the presence of the other slaves seems good, as reminding them of their own experience.
3. Again the level of background detail you achieve is excellent for setting the scene. The two girls look luscious and I am not as negative about the belly-dancer costumes as you are, as they seem like slave silks that would enhance the dance.

ReplyDelete5. Babs on Gor both show your strengths in having the background right. I understand your frustration in getting the programs to show all that John Norman described, but it works well in rendering figures and clothing.
5. The paga tavern. I would not change much here except increasing the nudity. I don't think the sands need to be much bigger for the average tavern. Slaves are restricted, and there is enough room there for their movements. As long as the silks are see-through length is not as important (but those pesky censor filters again) If I added anything it would be a small cantina band.

DeleteIt is crazy sometime how just saying this or that in the prompt will get excellent results and other times you have to spell it out and still might not get it.
Babs and the paga tavern were pure luck. I typed in Barbra Gordon as a Gorean Kajira and how I wanted her and I got several great images
I said paga tavern with a rough description of the sand pit, the serving slaves, dancer, low table and sitting cross legged
I am really looking forward to hearing what you think of Act 4. Act 5 is coming along nice and I hope to have it done soon.
The more I think about it. I have the images and I am going to do a stand alone Barbra Gordon/Batgirl slave girl of Gor stand alone story

Delete(1) A stand alone Batgirl slave girl of Gor story does not fit into the Darterra/Barataria/Ragenta master plan. Any other changes.
(2) I love Tracker’s detailed critique. I should have been more thorough but I was busy with a convoluted plan to surprise Emma with a Christmas present.

The whole collection is great!. My favorites were the tavern and the branding scene. Good branding scenes are hard to find. Ones that seem real, with thigh security like you did, are rare. I have a need for a branding scene and would love to take up your offer to help. Should I reach out to you on DA for an address?
